Center photo is a film strip showing the progressive occultation of Venus by the Moon on December 26, 1978 taken by Frank Stone using a German 35mm SLR attached to a 6 inch Newtonian Reflector Telescope with 30mm eyepiece projection.
Photo on the right is Comet IKEYA-SEKI captured by Joe Miko on October 31, 1965 using a 35mm ARGUS with 30mm lens and a 10 second exposure. Look for the long wispy trail with the head towards the horizon.
