FIELD DAY JUNE 28-29 AT CAMP GENYARA

Field Day in 2008 will begin Saturday June 28 at 2 PM until Sunday 2 PM.  We can only operate 24 hours because of the massive preparations needed and will have some antennas and gear set up early.  There will be a convenient newly installed Porta Pot on site.

To the right is an interactive GOOGLE map where you can zoom out and in, move the map with your left mouse button and switch to satellite view if you like.  Notice there is a marker where you will make the left turn onto an unmarked dirt road if coming from 439 (Old York Road), going through an open gate, then continuing through a tall grove of pine trees to the site. The club will mount a sign where you make the turn. The photo below is the actual site where you can see the two buildings and the grove of trees that cover the road.  The coordinates for your navigation device is: 39.708854 and -76.616068

To obtain driving directions from your location, click on View Larger Map, find your street by moving and zooming the map, then right click which will then ask if you want directions to or from this spot.  You can actually see your house (somewhat fuzzy) by switching to satellite view after finding your street.

Thanks to Bert K3HT, we will be using the 145.330 MHz repeater if anyone needs directions while on the road.  The club uses their call sign W3PGA for Field Day and the call AE3RO for the GOTA station.
